love needs not say much

  1. I am loving your frames and your saying. How true. The frames are so simple but beautiful because of their quiet presence.
    This a.m. after letting our precious fur boy back in house after his potty run in snow, early a.m. cold temp, he laid on his bed in our room. I covered him with a light fleece blanket, he looked up at me as if to say, thanks Mom, I know you love me to do this.
    He's not usually a dog that likes blankets on him but he stayed under it for couple hours, unusual for him. He's a 75 lb. 4 yr. old black lab, border collie.
    He'd been shuffled here and there the 1st. year of his life and we're pretty sure he'd been abused. We got him at a yr. old and he still seems so surprised to have somebody show him love and caring. We love him too much I'm sure, he's so special to us.
    The look he gave me this a.m. just melted my heart. Dogs rely on us so much to care for them and love them. How sad he had to spend his 1st. year of life being mistreated and shuffled around the country from shelter to shelter. He cherishes his toys and his bed. That look told me he loves me too. It still brings tears to my heart to think such a simple thing as covering him from the cold meant so much to him. We feel so fortunate to have this deserving animal as our own to be his forever home and Mom and Dad.
